CDL A Company Driver-Short Haul-Home Every Night

The CDL A Company Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of empty cargo containers. You will deliver and pick up from the ground empty storage containers at our customers job sites. This role requires frequent customer interaction and adherence to safety compliance and vehicle inspection protocols. The driver will utilize provided technologies such as paper logs and mobile telephones to manage logs and routes effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles to transport empty cargo containers
• Perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
• Provide excellent customer service through frequent interactions
• Accurately document and report any accidents or incidents
• Manage route information and logs using paper logs and mobile telephone
• Excellent communication with dispatch and other team members

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years verifiable experience in commercial driving
• DOT Drug and Physical
• Clean DMV record
• Ability to pass a background check

• Experience with commercial driving and vehicle inspection
• Landoll trailer experience
• Knowledge of safety regulations
• Strong time management skills
