DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy using four handed dentistry techniques
Conduct patient assessments to include medical history review, creating an individual treatment plan for each pt.
Patient education, tailored oral hygiene techniques, personalized care
Utilize Open Dental software for documentation and medical records management
Collaborate with the dental team
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations
Current CPR
OSHA/HIPAA/Radiology knowledge, training
REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and general dentistry practices
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism
Ability to handle infection control measures/aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment
Excellent communication skills with a passion for providing outstanding patient care
Works well with patients of all ages
WORKING CONDITIONS
Small private dental office, 5 operatories-each provider has own operatory suite
All adult patients are scheduled for one hour appointments
On site laundry facility, scrubs laundered here!
