Shift – 8 Am To 5 Pm Monday – Friday (40 hours/week)
Role Overview:
Your job will be to investigate, identify, and resolve invoice processing exceptions within an automated accounts payable system. You will collaborate across departments to fix processing issues, analyze trend data to suggest process improvements, and maintain accurate financial controls in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Exception Management: Investigate root causes of invoice exceptions and drive them to closure.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with purchasing, receiving, operations, and IT to resolve issues.
- Trend Analysis: Analyze recurring exception data to recommend automated process improvements.
- Data Quality: Collaborate with business partners to improve overall master data quality.
- Documentation: Assist in developing procedures and training materials for exception management.
- Issue Resolution: Manage multiple processing issues simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in SAP (preferably FICO and Accounts Payable) and MS Excel.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and automated AP workflows.
- Technical Skills: Experience with exception management tools and automated approval workflows.
- Communication: Strong professional writing and verbal communication skills across functional teams.
- Traits: Expert organizational skills, high learning agility, and a strong sense of urgency.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's Degree required.
- Experience: Experience with SAP and Accounts Payable functions within a manufacturing environment required.
