Locums Hematology and Oncology Physician in Waterbury, Connecticut - Outpatient Focus
Provide hematology and oncology coverage alongside an established multidisciplinary cancer care team.
Practice & Cases
- Mix of outpatient and inpatient hematology and oncology care
- Work alongside radiation oncologists, APPs, and nurse oncology staff
- Participation in tumor board activities and treatment planning
- Average of 15-16 outpatient visits and 1-5 inpatient patients daily
Schedule
- Outpatient clinic Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
- Clinic hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Shared 1:3 evening and weekend call rotation
- Coverage needed September through December
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
- Active Connecticut license required
- BLS certification required
Logistics
- Mileage reimbursement available
- Local providers preferred
