Occupational Therapist School Setting - Loves Park, IL

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state license to practice Occupational Therapy
• Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
• Strong understanding of educational disabilities and IEP processes
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to adapt to diverse student populations and varying caseloads

Responsibilities Include:

• Performing assessments and evaluations of students to determine therapy needs
• Designing and implementing individual and group therapy programs aligned with IEP goals
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to ensure cohesive support
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Creating instructional materials and activities that promote skill development
• Maintaining thorough and timely records of assessments, progress, and services provided
