• Two elementary-age Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classes, self-contained and structured for students requiring high levels of support.
• One combined middle and high school ASD self-contained classroom, fostering growth for older students with developmental challenges.
• One Cognitive Impairments classroom, guiding students through tailored instruction and behavioral supports.

Key qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teaching License (substitute certifications are not accepted).
• For high school Autism, a bachelor’s degree with endorsement in autism spectrum disorder or special education. Willingness to enroll in additional classes for endorsement if needed.
• Valid state-certified special education credential at start of assignment.
• Required certification in Emotional Impairment or Autism endorsement.
• Experience or strong interest in supporting students with mild to severe behavioral and developmental needs.
• Ability to work independently—there will be no district-provided supervision (such as paraeducators, RBTs, CNAs, or LPNs).
• Flexible for in-person and virtual interviews.
