Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist for a full-time, permanent position at our Kenner, LA branch. This role involves verifying all incoming and outgoing transactions, receiving materials from vendors into the business system while maintaining related records, assisting with loading and unloading delivery vehicles, and supporting inventory management, including cycle counts. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and ordering department office supplies and processing invoices for payment.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of forklift, reach truck, or electric pallet jack.
• Experience with RF scanning, pallet wrapping, and retrieving inventory.
• Attention to detail to ensure correct orders and quantities are dispatched.
• Experience in shipping and receiving processes.
• Proficiency with SAP and RF scanners.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenner, LA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
