Construction Cleaner for Los Lunas site

$20/hour

Monday-Frida 7am-3:30pm

Job Description:

This role focuses on providing thorough cleaning services at a large data center construction site in Los Lunas, NM. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment by performing repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the facility, including around server racks, cables, and other equipment. The position requires working on your feet for extended periods, occasionally at heights, while following all construction site safety and PPE requirements.

Essential Skills:

• Comfort working at heights of approximately 6–8 feet while following safety guidelines.
• Capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and carry ladders for long periods of time during an 8 to 10 hour shift.
• Experience performing cleaning, janitorial, or general labor duties in an industrial, construction, or similar environment.
• Ability to sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces, including server racks, cables, and wires, with care and thoroughness.
• Ability to work in a non–climate-controlled facility and remain comfortable without air conditioning.
• Reliability in performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Commitment to wearing and properly using required construction PPE, including steel toe boots.
• Previous experience in construction site cleaning or janitorial work is beneficial.
• Familiarity with working around multiple trades and contractors in an active construction environment.
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions and site procedures.
• Willingness to work some overtime as needed, including 8 to 10 hour shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain designated areas within a large data center construction site.
• Wipe down server racks, cables, and wires to remove dust and debris.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, and dusting throughout the facility.
• Carry ladders and use them to work at heights of approximately 6–8 feet when needed.
• Follow all construction site safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times, including steel toe boots.
• Complete repetitive cleaning tasks with consistency and attention to detail.
• Remain on your feet and actively working for 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Support general labor and janitorial duties as directed by site supervisors.
• Work cooperatively alongside various trades and contractors operating in the same facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in a non–climate-controlled environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
