  • Work from assigned work orders and complete tasks within specific timeframes, meeting strict turnaround schedules of approximately 7–10 days for aircraft overhaul.

  • Experience working in an MRO or depot-level work environment with exposure to Part 145 maintenance operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to perform maintenance and modifications accurately.

  • Comfort working extended 12-hour shifts and rotating schedules in a 24/7 operation.
  • Willingness to participate in and apply safety, fall protection, and other technical training provided during orientation.
Why Work Here?

You will join a growing operation that is expanding maintenance capacity and adding new lines of work, creating strong long-term opportunities. The facility offers a stable workload driven by significant new contracts and planned hiring growth. The rotating swing shift schedule provides extended blocks of time off, allowing flexibility for travel, personal commitments, or additional overtime to increase earnings. The organization emphasizes safety, invests in comprehensive initial training, and supports professional development in a high-demand segment of the aviation industry.

Work Environment

This position supports a service center at a major air facility, working in a heavy MRO environment focused on C and D checks for CRJ aircraft operated by regional airlines. The operation is extremely fast paced, with work orders assigned and strict, time-sensitive deadlines; typical aircraft overhaul turnaround is approximately 7–10 days. The facility runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a southern swing shift schedule: one week of 4 days on (12-hour shifts) and 3 days off, followed by a week of 3 days on (12-hour shifts) and 4 days off. Shifts are scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The dress code is casual, allowing T-shirts and shorts or jeans, with steel-toed shoes required. Standard PPE, including safety glasses or goggles, must be worn at all times on the shop floor, and additional PPE such as fall protection, hearing protection, or Tyvek suits may be required depending on the task.
