Full-Time | Onsite Only
Pay Rate: $48.50 - $60.00 per Hour

We are seeking a dedicated and student-focused School Psychologist to join a K-12 educational team in Newport News, Virginia. This is a full-time, onsite position supporting students across a variety of grade levels and educational settings.

The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students achieve academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success through comprehensive psychological services and collaborative problem-solving.

Position Highlights
Full-time schedule
Onsite position only (hybrid and remote arrangements are not available)
K-12 caseload
Competitive hourly pay ranging from $48.50 to $60.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive reports.
Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to support student success.
Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions.
Assist in the development and implementation of behavior support plans.
Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
Active School Psychologist license/certification required.
Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
Strong knowledge of special education laws, evaluation procedures, and IEP processes.
Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and educational teams.
