Brake Press Lead

 We are urgently hiring for a Brake Press Lead for our client located in the Byron Center area for 1st shift! 

Purpose: Team Lead is responsible for leading, motivating, and coordinating their team's efforts to achieve department-wide production goals efficiently, safely, and with exceptional quality.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Organize and prioritize tasks to meet daily production goals.

· Assign tasks to team members based on their strengths and capabilities.

· Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow.

· Seek ways to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.

· Demonstrate a sense of urgency and model exceptional work ethic.

· Resolve issues that arise during the shift.

· Provide training and mentoring to team members.

· Oversee flow of materials and finished goods in and out of department.

· Ensure team follows safety protocols and maintains a clean and organized work environment.

· Model company core values daily.

Skills/Qualifications:

· Deep understanding of department and its processes including technical aspects of the work.

· Acute attention to detail ensuring quality of work.

· Able to identify and address issues proactively.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information, give direction and feedback, and resolve conflicts.

· Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team toward success.

· Able to collaborate effectively with others, build strong relationships, and manage disagreements in order to find mutually beneficial solutions.

Education/Experience:

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Demonstrated mastery of department processes and leadership capabilities.

Requirements:

· Ability to read/write/speak in English

· Ability to stand throughout entire shift with frequent bending and twisting.

· Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally.

· Hi-lo certification may be needed to perform job duties and requires a valid driver’s license.

· May be required to perform other jobs outside of your department as needed.
