JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Catering Specialist

Reports to: Catering Manager/General Manager/Owner

 

Position Summary: A catering specialist is responsible for prepping, cooking and executing catering events, ensuring they are delivered on time with a company vehicle, set up and exceed expectations of clients. The job description for a catering specialist includes the following responsibilities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·       Catering Logistics and Set-up: Coordinate logistics for caterings; including transportation, cooking/ assisting with cooking, set-up, and some breakdown. Ensure that all equipment and supplies are in place for a seamless execution.

·       Quality Control: Monitor the quality of food, presentation, and service to maintain high standards and exceed client expectations. Oversee and maintain brand image and ensuring consistency.      

·       Store/Staff Coordination: Communication with Catering Manager, General Manager, and Kitchen Lead to ensure the necessary ingredients, equipment, products are available for all events.

Transportation: Must have transportation to get to work and have a clean driving record.


 

Qualifications/ Skills:

·       Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers

·       Posses the ethics and positive attitude that support our values and culture

·       Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize

·       Strong sense of autonomy and urgency

 

Education and/or Experience:

·       1 year restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required

 

Essential Physical Functions:

·       Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours per day

·       Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally

·       Required to frequently reach, bend, stoop, and carry

·       Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments; indoors and outdoors (limited)

·       Must be able to tolerate potential exposure to allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish

Eggs Up Grill is a breakfast and lunch establishment that is open daily from 6am till 2pm. Eggs Up Grill in Albany opened in the fall of 2016. Eggs Up has been named the past 3 years as the #1 franchise in the breakfast category. Currently we average approximately 10-15 catering jobs a week that makes up 12% of our overall sales. We are looking to add a Catering Specialist to support our catering volume. We deliver with in a hour to hour and fifteen minute drive in the Southwest Ga area.
