Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
The Material Handler supports warehouse operations by safely moving materials throughout the facility, delivering parts and products to assemblers, and organizing and distributing inventory to ensure efficient workflow and accurate order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Move materials throughout the warehouse using power jacks and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
- Deliver materials and components to assemblers to support continuous production and assembly operations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to work orders, ensuring correct quantities and item selection.
- Load and unload trucks, including verifying shipments and handling materials with care to prevent damage.
- Organize, label, and distribute inventory within the warehouse to maintain an orderly and efficient storage system.
- Support general labor tasks in the warehouse, including staging, sorting, and consolidating materials as needed.
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels by following established procedures for material movement and storage.
- Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area.
Essential Skills
- Experience operating power jacks and forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Proven ability in picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently.
- Experience loading and unloading trucks safely and effectively.
- Need to have experience in material handling and general warehouse labor.
- Ability to organize and distribute inventory within a warehouse setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with inventory control processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems for tracking inventory and warehouse activities.
- Previous experience in a small warehouse or family-owned business environment.
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a collaborative warehouse team.

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse environment on a first shift schedule, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You will work around forklifts, power jacks, and other material handling equipment, and spend most of the day on your feet moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and organizing inventory. The setting is hands-on and fast-paced, with a focus on safety, organization, and efficient material flow.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
