Desired Qualifications:

• Current (or eligibility to obtain) Washington State School Psychologist license or certification
• Previous experience as a school psychologist, especially within elementary school settings, is highly valued
• Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Proficient in conducting assessments, interpreting results, and recommending interventions
• Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
• Enthusiastic about promoting students’ mental and emotional well-being

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments for K-5 students to identify learning, behavioral, or emotional challenges
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Support classroom teachers with advice on behavioral interventions and academic accommodations
• Participate in meetings with families to discuss student progress and strategies for success
• Deliver crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed
• Keep detailed records and ensure compliance with all state and federal education regulations
