Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, contract position runs from July 29, 2026, through May 26, 2027, and offers the chance to truly make a difference within a supportive school environment.
This role calls for 35-40 hours per week, working with a diverse caseload across all grade levels. Your expertise will help shape students’ educational journeys through comprehensive evaluations, assessments, report writing, participation in IEP meetings, and ongoing collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active School Psychologist license in Alabama required
- School Psychometrist credential also accepted
- Previous school-based experience is an advantage, but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with fellow educators, administrators, and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct and interpret assessments to identify student needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing essential insights
- Complete timely and thorough report writing and documentation
- Support program development and implementation for students
- Work closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to promote student success
