Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into an impactful role supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist or Psychometrist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the educational journey of students, spanning from elementary through high school. The assignment runs from late July to late May, with a weekly commitment of 35-40 hours.
Your expertise will be vital in conducting evaluations, assessments, comprehensive report writing, and actively participating in IEP meetings and related responsibilities. You’ll collaborate regularly with educators and a multidisciplinary team, providing insight and support to help foster a positive and productive learning environment.
Key Qualifications
- Active School Psychologist License in Alabama
- Open to both School Psychologists and School Psychometrists
- Previous school-based experience helpful, but not required
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Team-oriented mindset, with a collaborative approach to working with staff and administrators
Responsibilities
- Administer a range of student assessments and evaluations
- Develop detailed, actionable reports
- Engage in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute expertise
