We are seeking diligent candidates to work in our manufacturing environment, creating quality windows and patio doors. All candidates will be cross-trained in multiple areas within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Double Hung: Involves heavy lifting, repetitive work, and requires the ability to read schedules/labels.
- Direct Set: Requires the ability to work independently, learn about different materials and colors, and read paperwork and labels.
- CSMT: Role involves using a sash hanger, tape measure and reading schedules.
- Patio Door (open): Involves heavier lifting and tape measure use.
- Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment (minimum 6 months).
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
- Solid attendance record.
- High attention to detail.
- Awareness of surroundings.
- Willingness to ask questions when unsure.
- Adaptable to cross-training in multiple areas.
- Comfortable lifting 50lbs.
- Nice to have skills: tape measure, construction, hands-on manufacturing experience.
- 1 year of manufacturing experience required.
- Ability to speak English, whether secondary language or not.

Work Environment
This is a fully on-site position in West Des Moines, Iowa. The 1st shift runs from 6am-2:30pm, five days a week. The current schedule involves working 32-40 hours a week, with preparation for a busy season where there will be 50-hour work weeks and a requirement to work 2 Saturdays a month. The manufacturing environment consists of three facilities, which are not temperature controlled, with a team size averaging around 100 employees per facility. The dress code requires work-appropriate shirts, jeans or shorts, and steel-toed shoes.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
