Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful difference supporting K-12 students by bringing your expertise in school psychology or psychometry to an engaging, full-time contract opportunity. This school-based role spans the 2026-2027 academic year (July 29, 2026, through May 26, 2027), with a commitment of 35-40 hours per week. You’ll enjoy a varied caseload and the chance to support students across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness
- Draft detailed and timely reports based on assessment findings
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations to support student success
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain clear communication with school staff and parents
- Adapt to the evolving needs and priorities of the school community
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current and active School Psychologist license in Alabama
- Open to candidates with School Psychologist or Psychometrist credentials
- Prior experience in school settings is a plus, but motivated newcomers are encouraged to apply
- Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities
