Pay Rate: $48.50 - $60.00 per Hour
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated School Psychologist to join a student-centered educational team in Gloucester, Virginia for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time, year-round position with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2026.
The School Psychologist will play a vital role in supporting students' academic achievement, social-emotional well-being, and behavioral success through assessment, consultation, and collaboration with educators and families.

Competitive hourly pay ranging from $48.50 to $60.00, based on experience and qualifications
Collaborative and supportive educational environment
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to support eligibility and educational planning.
Interpret assessment data and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, eligibility meetings, and IEP meetings.
Consult with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers regarding student needs and interventions.
Assist in the development and implementation of behavioral and academic support plans.
Support crisis prevention and intervention efforts as needed.
Monitor student progress and provide recommendations to promote positive educational outcomes.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations regarding special education services.
Qualifications
Active School Psychologist license/certification required.
Strong understanding of special education regulations, evaluation procedures, and IEP processes.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and school personnel.
Prior school-based experience preferred.
