CDL-A OTR Recovery Truck Driver - 3 Months Experience

If you are an experienced CDL-A Driver looking for a change of pace, C.R. England is hiring OTR Recovery Drivers. This is a full-time position with drivers staying out 3-4 weeks at a time with home time 3-4 days. Drivers are recovering equipment (tractors - trailers) across 48 states. Drivers may exhibit down time such as breakdowns and delays in loads occasionally. Drivers may have to team 5 to 10% of the time to get to a shop or to seat a truck.

• Valid CDL-A plus 3+ months of Class A CDL experience required

• This lane is not suitable for students, recent graduates, or trainees.

• Routes originate from Walmart Distribution Centers in Colton, Fontana, and Riverside, CA, servicing delivery locations throughout California, Nevada (including Reno and Las Vegas), and Arizona. Drivers typically complete two trips per day, with backhauls returning to the distribution centers.

Details:

• Driving locations include the 48 lower states

• This is a 24/7 operation, including weekends and holidays. Drivers generally operate on a 70-hour work week, followed by a 34-hour reset at home

• Estimated: 1835 miles per week

• CPM, CPM Split for Teams

• Stop pay, Detention pay, Layover pay

• Drivers operate new, well-maintained sleeper tractors equipped with automatic transmissions, hauling both dry van and refrigerated trailers

• Drivers are required to be able to obtain rental cars and be willing to fly frequently. On rare occasions when a rental car is needed, the driver will be responsible for the fuel and will be reimbursed

Driver Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL

• 21 Years of age or older

• 3 months of or more of recent Class A CDL experience

• Must have a cell phone that can take pictures of trucks and send pictures in an email to the Fleet Manager
