Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience and firm ARRT and CT certifications for a 13-week night shift contract in Santa Barbara, CA.

\n
• Inpatient and outpatient hospital CT setting
\n
• Patient population spans neonates through geriatrics
\n
• Procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
\n
• Documents in Epic EMR
\n
• Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n
• Holiday coverage required as needed
\n
• No on-call or floating required
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience
\n
• ARRT certification and CT certification required (firm requirements)
\n
• Both inpatient and outpatient work setting experience required
\n
• Proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, and biopsies
\n
• Experience with GE Revolution Scanner and GE HD 750 required (firm requirement)
\n
• Epic EMR experience required
\n
• CA license required if applicable
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Perform a full range of CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal imaging, aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
\n
• Clean scrubs of any color are required
\n
• No RTO will be approved during the first 2 weeks of the contract; all RTO requests for the full contract length must be submitted upfront
\n
• Note: Santa Barbara has a high cost of living — candidates are encouraged to research living expenses prior to applying
\n
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration
\n
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
