29 beds, Staff Mix:Day Shift – 1 charge, 1 Desk PCT, RN’s based on census, Patient Ratios – 3-4 couplets per RN
Type of equipment – Welch Allen vitals machines, CPN monitors, POC Glucose monitoring, EMR – Meditech / CPN, Experience Needed: Minimum 1-year current acute care Postpartum hospital, CERTS: BLS & NRP, Preferred: High risk post-partum experience, Level 2 Nursery experience, Common Procedures:POC Glucose monitoring
Breastfeeding support, Post-partum hemorrhage management, Assist with circumcision, Hypertension assessment/management.
