CONTRACT LENGTH: 13 Weeks plus extensions

SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday days

COMPENSATION

Taxable Hourly Rate: $37.00/hr (W2)
Overtime Rate: $55.50/hr (after 40 hours)
Weekly Gross (40 hrs): $3,013
Weekly Taxable Wages: $1,480 (40 hrs x $37.00)
Weekly Per Diem (non-taxed): $1,533
One-Time Travel Allowance: $500 (paid at start of assignment)

FACILITY HIGHLIGHTS

Hopi Health Care Center is a JCAHO-accredited IHS federal hospital serving approximately 7,000 Hopi and Navajo patients on the Hopi Reservation in northeastern Arizona. The outpatient department provides primary and preventive care, pediatrics, OB/women's health, behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, diabetes prevention and management, and public health nursing services. HHCC carries a FAR Code 4 frontier designation — one of the most remote and culturally significant clinical settings in IHS.

LOCATION & HOUSING

Polacca, AZ is located on the Hopi Reservation in Navajo County at approximately 6,000 feet elevation. On-campus tribal housing (Walpi Housing) is available to professional staff at no cost — confirm availability with your DT-Trak recruiter before extending an offer. Government overflow housing is located approximately 11-13 miles away in Keams Canyon. Nearest hotels are in Winslow, AZ (~80 miles SW). Personal vehicle required — no public transportation on the reservation.

REQUIREMENTS

Active RN license (Arizona or Compact)
Minimum 2 years outpatient, primary care, or ambulatory care experience
BLS required
Experience in public health, community health, or Tribal/IHS settings preferred
IHS credentialing, privileging, and federal background investigation required prior to start
