American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-acuity Emergency Department position in Springfield, MA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED or ICU experience and an active MA RN license.
Details- Large, high-acuity Emergency Department with 118 beds
- Mixed patient population including behavioral health, boarding patients, emergency/trauma, and critically ill/ICU-level patients
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
- Schedule options include 3x12 or 4x12 shifts
- Active MA RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of ED or ICU experience (post-orientation) required
- Strong critical care skills with the ability to manage complex and unstable patients
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copies of all active certifications required for consideration
- Must demonstrate adaptability and comfort managing patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Nurses are expected to be comfortable with both behavioral health patients and critically ill/ICU-level care within the same unit
