American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 3+ years of acute, trauma, ED, and critical care experience for a night shift travel assignment at a critical access hospital.
Details- Critical access hospital setting serving multiple campus locations
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) unit covering acute, trauma, ED, and critical care
- Adult critical care and emergency department patient populations; NICU and pediatric critical care experience preferred
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (18:00–06:30)
- Weekend requirement of at minimum every other weekend, with potential for more based on operational need
- Floating to all 4 campus locations (Bend, Redmond, Prineville, and Madras) within scope as needed
- Epic EMR experience required
- On-call is voluntary only
- 13-week contract
- Current RRT certification required
- Active state license required if applicable
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Minimum 3 years of experience in acute care, trauma, ED, and critical care settings
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proficiency in adult critical care and emergency department care required; NICU and pediatric critical care experience preferred
- Must be able to work independently in a critical access hospital environment
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; proof of address required for consideration
- Prior travel assignment experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- Provide respiratory therapy services across acute, trauma, ED, and critical care settings
- Clinicians must be flexible with scheduling, as the facility schedules travelers based on operational need rather than personal preference
- Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) for the duration of the assignment; all scheduling requests must be submitted upfront
- Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
