    Job Details
  • Entry-level MRI Technologist position working under supervision to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients.
  • Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, correlating clinical history with ordered procedures, collaborating with care team, utilizing specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment, performing diagnostic, interventional and/or surgical procedures, conducting post-procedure reviews, transferring images and data, performing quality control and maintenance, and participating in continuing education and professional development.
    Job Requirements
  • Skill in cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, patient positioning, and medical ethics.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Sensitivity to patients’ physical and psychological needs.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and work accurately with names, numbers, and codes.
  • Ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information and sound judgment.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Understanding of operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Professional, polite, courteous, compassionate, and cooperative communication with staff, patients, and families.
  • High level of initiative, effort, and commitment to completing assignments efficiently.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and attention to detail.
  • Core knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology; cardiovascular and/or radiologic technologies and terminology associated with the specialty.
  • Ability to apply core-level primary specialty theory, practices, and techniques to perform, post-process, analyze, and annotate study data or procedure documentation with general supervision or assistance.
    Schedule Information
  • Shift 1: 7am to 7pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
  • Shift 2: 7am to 7pm Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
    Additional Details
  • Must be able to consistently and dependably report to work as scheduled.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families.
