- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Oklahoma State Licensure for MRI Technologist or Radiologic Technologist as applicable
Certification Details
- Entry-level MRI Technologist position working under supervision to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients.
- Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, correlating clinical history with ordered procedures, collaborating with care team, utilizing specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment, performing diagnostic, interventional and/or surgical procedures, conducting post-procedure reviews, transferring images and data, performing quality control and maintenance, and participating in continuing education and professional development.
Job Details
- Skill in cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, patient positioning, and medical ethics.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Sensitivity to patients’ physical and psychological needs.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and work accurately with names, numbers, and codes.
- Ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
- Discretion in handling confidential information and sound judgment.
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations.
- Understanding of operations, policies, and procedures.
- Professional, polite, courteous, compassionate, and cooperative communication with staff, patients, and families.
- High level of initiative, effort, and commitment to completing assignments efficiently.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and attention to detail.
- Core knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology; cardiovascular and/or radiologic technologies and terminology associated with the specialty.
- Ability to apply core-level primary specialty theory, practices, and techniques to perform, post-process, analyze, and annotate study data or procedure documentation with general supervision or assistance.
Job Requirements
- Shift 1: 7am to 7pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Shift 2: 7am to 7pm Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
Schedule Information
- Must be able to consistently and dependably report to work as scheduled.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families.
