American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 2 years of experience, TNCC certification, and triage skills, with night shift and every other weekend coverage.
Details- Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital setting
- Inner city ED patient population spanning adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Triage experience required as part of core ED duties
- Medication management using Accudose and Omnicell systems
- Charting and documentation performed in Cerner EMR
- SBAR communication framework used for clinical handoffs
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 or 48 hours per week accepted
- Every other weekend required
- 13-week contract
- Active CT or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
- Proficiency in triage required
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- Dark blue scrubs required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
