About the Role:

The BT-Grocery Stocker plays a crucial role in ensuring that the grocery section of Bear Track Travel Center is well-stocked, organized, and appealing to customers. This position involves receiving, unpacking, and shelving products in a timely manner to maintain inventory levels and enhance the shopping experience. The stocker will also be responsible for monitoring product expiration dates and ensuring that items are rotated properly to minimize waste. By maintaining a clean and orderly environment, the stocker contributes to the overall efficiency of the store and customer satisfaction. Ultimately, the success of this role directly impacts sales and the reputation of Bear Track Travel Center as a reliable grocery provider.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
• Basic understanding of inventory management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail or grocery stocking.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect grocery deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Unpack and shelve products in designated areas, following store layout guidelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves as needed.
• Ensure that all products are organized, labeled, and displayed attractively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grocery section, including removing expired items.
