Nurse Practitioner Part-Time Day Shift -Gibson County (TN, Trenton)

Employee will be expected to:

• ?Provide nurse practitioner services on-site to inmates at QCHC?s facilities.
• ?Give appropriate medical orders to direct medical and nursing care provided by QCHC nursing staff at sites.
• ?Document all clinical encounters in the medical record
• ?Participate in the quality assurance, risk management, and staff education activities
• ?Coordinate and communicate with jail administration as necessary
• Participate in meetings with jail administration, Sheriffs, and/or other county officials as needed; work with off-site healthcare providers as necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree in Nursing required
• Must have current and valid CRNP
• Must have current, unencumbered license in the state of practice
• 1-3 years of previous Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
• Experience working in corrections preferred
• Current BLS certified
