ESTIMATOR

PURPOSE:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Estimator to join our team specializing in Residential Framing. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively with office staff and field Superintendents. This role is essential in ensuring projects are estimated correctly, plans are maintained accurately, and discrepancies are resolved promptly to keep projects moving forward.

DESCRIPTION:

• Perform takeoffs and prepare door options based on project requirements
• Manage redlines and revisions in coordination with lots in progress
• Update walks and documentation as provided by Superintendents
• Create and maintain both custom and model options for projects
• Prepare mini plans and print plans as needed to support ongoing projects
• Assist the front office and field Superintendents in resolving discrepancies or conflicts in project details
• Complete general data entry, documentation, and office-related responsibilities as required

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 previous experience in estimating, construction, or related field preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Proficiency in data entry, document management, and Microsoft Office Suite (or similar tools)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
