Salaried: $62,400- $70,720 (depending on experience)
Equivalent Rate: $30-$34/hour
Shift: Full-Time

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete and oversee nutritional assessments for newly admitted residents and develop individualized nutrition care plans
- Monitor resident weights, meal intake, supplements, hydration status, laboratory values, and therapeutic diet needs
- Collaborate with the Food Service Director, Diet Technician, nursing staff, therapists, and other disciplines to ensure appropriate nutritional care
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents, families, and facility staff
- Review menus, recipes, dietary consistencies, and nourishment programs to ensure nutritional adequacy and regulatory compliance
- Participate in care plan meetings, interdisciplinary meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain required documentation, transfer/discharge summaries, and nutrition-related records
- Assist with policy review, dietary education programs, and maintaining the facility diet manual
- Perform additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum education requirement: Associate's Degree in Dietetics/Nutrition; Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics/Nutrition preferred
- Minimum experience requirement: Ten full-time equivalent years of education and supervised experience (1,600 hours of experience equals one year of credit for every 30 semester hours of education); completion of Bachelor's program experience requirements preferred
- Valid NYS Dietitian License required
- Strong knowledge of nutritional assessment, care planning, hydration management, therapeutic diets, and food service operations
- Excellent communication, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to maintain regulatory compliance, confidentiality, and professional standards
