X-Ray Technologist Job Details:
Location: Tomball TX 77070
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Starting Pay Rate: $25.00 / hour (Based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• The Department of Orthopedic Surgery is seeking an energetic radiological technologist to provide patient care and technical skills in the operation of diagnostic radiographic equipment for diagnostic and evaluation purposes.
• Prepares patient for radiographic procedures by reviewing the exam order.
• Operates computer and radiographic equipment for image production and documentation of images and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images.
• Quality control is performed on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis, as required for the X-Ray machine category.
• Prepares patients films for interpretation by radiologist.
• Practices accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work to maximize productivity.
• Practices safety measures in radiography and environment of care.
• Participates in research projects.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• No experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program required.
• Certification and Registration as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry or Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and Licensure as a Medical Radiological Technologist or Limited Medical Radiological Technologist by the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
