Surgical Technologist – Travel Contract

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in a busy Operating Room setting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in maintaining sterile technique, supporting surgical procedures, and collaborating effectively with the surgical team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Position Details:
• Specialty: Surgical Technologist
• Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
• Start Date: 07/06/2026
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday
• Shift Times: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, and/or 11:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields for surgical procedures
• Perform surgical scrubbing, gowning, and gloving according to established protocols
• Assist with patient positioning, skin preparation, and draping
• Prepare, organize, and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures to ensure efficiency and patient safety
• Perform sponge, sharps, and instrument counts
• Assist with medication identification and handling according to policy
• Maintain and operate sterilization equipment and surgical technology safely
• Support infection prevention and aseptic practices
• Assist with patient transfers and provide compassionate patient support
• Participate in equipment maintenance, quality improvement, and departmental operations

Minimum Requirements:
• Active state license (if required by state regulations)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent military training
• Current Surgical Technologist certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent
