Description:

Take Pride in the Final Product.

At Midwest Compressor Systems, quality doesn't stop with how our equipment performs—it extends to how it looks. Every compressor package, engine, and skid that leaves our facility represents our commitment to craftsmanship, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

We're looking for a Paint Technician who takes pride in producing a professional, durable finish and understands that attention to detail matters. If you enjoy hands-on work, take ownership of quality, and want to be part of a team that keeps the oil and gas industry running, we'd love to meet you.

What You Will Do

As a Paint Technician, you'll prepare, prime, paint, and finish compressor packages, gas engines, skids, and related equipment before they head to our customers.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare equipment by cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface prepping
  • Mix and apply industrial primers and coatings
  • Paint natural gas compressor packages, gas engines, skids, piping, and fabricated equipment
  • Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and appearance
  • Perform touch-ups and correct paint defects as needed
  • Maintain paint booth equipment, spray guns, and painting tools
  • Follow all environmental, safety, and PPE requirements
  • Keep the paint area clean, organized, and operating efficiently
  • Work closely with Manufacturing and Shop teams to meet production schedules
