Full-Time Landscaper / GroundskeeperPosition Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Full-Time Landscaper / Groundskeeper to join our team. This position is ideal for a skilled professional who takes pride in maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces and has extensive hands-on experience with commercial and residential landscaping equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive care and maintenance of grounds, ensuring all properties under our management are maintained to the highest standards of appearance and safety.

Primary ResponsibilitiesLawn Care and Maintenance

• Operate various types of commercial-grade mowing equipment including zero-turn mowers, riding mowers, and push mowers to maintain lawns at optimal height and appearance
• Perform precision edging and trimming using weed eaters and string trimmers along walkways, driveways, fences, and landscape beds
• Execute proper mowing patterns to ensure professional-looking results and prevent lawn damage
• Adjust mowing heights seasonally and according to grass type and weather conditions
• Monitor lawn health and identify issues such as disease, pest damage, or irrigation problems

Landscape Maintenance

• Maintain landscape beds by weeding, mulching, and edging to create clean, defined borders
• Prune shrubs, hedges, and small trees to maintain shape and promote healthy growth
• Plant seasonal flowers, shrubs, and ground cover as directed
• Apply mulch, pine straw, or other ground cover materials to landscape beds
• Remove dead plants, leaves, and debris from landscape areas
• Monitor and maintain irrigation systems, reporting any malfunctions or needed repairs

General Grounds Maintenance

• Remove litter, debris, and fallen branches from all property areas
• Blow and clear walkways, parking lots, and common areas of grass clippings and leaves
