As a Warehouse Team Member, youll play a key role in efficiently processing electronic goods, using available resources to assess resale value and ensure items are handled accurately and responsibly.
In addition to warehouse responsibilities, youll also occasionally support our logistics team by assisting drivers with client pick-ups and deliveries, helping keep operations running smoothly from start to finish.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4 PM with a hour lunch break
Reports to: This position reports to the Warehouse Manager
Compensation: $20.00 / Hourly

THE DAY TO DAY:
- "Receiving" product as the retired IT assets from big businesses come through our doors (on pallets/in gaylords).
- Weighing in the product and inputting data into our computer system.
- Utilizing multiple resources, including the internet, to research and assess resale value of electronic product received.
- Some basic electronic testing may be required for some gear, standard testing equipment provided.
- Preparing and sorting electronic goods with no resale value for demanufacturing.
- Identifying and removing hazardous substances.
- Dismantling electronic goods where value is found only in parts/or pieces.
- Sorting materials of non-valuable product into appropriate containers for recycling.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and power lifts.
- Operating balers to compress recyclable materials into bundles or bales.
- Supporting warehouse upkeep by sweeping, picking up loose debris, and re-organizing materials to ensure a safe and clean working space.
- Inspecting heavy machinery and perform routine maintenance on the applicable equipment.
- Being utilized in any department at any time.
- Providing occasional logistics team member support by assisting drivers with client pick-ups and deliveries (mostly local).
THE VITALS:

- Comfortable working in Spreadsheets/Google Sheets (just the basics)

- Be willing and happy to help out wherever needed
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- The ability to stand in one place for extended periods of time without fatiguing.
- The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
- The ability to lift, push, pull, and/or move/carry heavy objects up to 70lbs+.
- Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- The ability to correctly wear safety equipment.
- This role requires working in a non-climate controlled warehouse, which means you may be exposed to extreme temperaturesboth hot and colddepending on the season. Candidates must be comfortable working in physically demanding environments wit h fluctuating temperatures, moderate noise, and a fast-paced, busy atmosphere.
OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- The ability to speak/read English fluently.
- The ability to pass a drug test
- Clean criminal record.
- Safety-Sensitive Role Requirements: This position is designated as safety-sensitive due to the potential impact on workplace safety and operational integrity.
- Must perform duties free from impairment at all times.
- May be subject to more frequent or periodic drug testing.
- Must consistently demonstrate readiness and the ability to perform duties safely.
- Must be willing to assist the logistics team with pickups as required for business needs.
