Project Manager- Commercial Construction (HVAC / Plumbing Projects)

HiFyve is hiring a Project Manager in the Commercial Construction industry in Columbus, OH! 

Salary: up to $50+/hr + Overtime Pay

Shift: Day Shift

Location: Onsite - Columbus, OH

Position Overview:

Join a growing commercial mechanical contractor where you'll take ownership of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and MEP construction projects from start to finish. This role offers the opportunity to lead project execution, manage customer relationships, oversee project financials, and play a key role in delivering high-profile commercial construction projects. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical construction projects from start to finish
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, job costs, and profitability
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation
• Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, customers, and general contractors
• Conduct jobsite visits and project meetings to ensure successful project execution
• Support project buyout, procurement, forecasting, billing, and project closeout activities



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 3+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, piping, mechanical, or MEP projects strongly preferred
• Experience managing project financials, job costs, forecasting, schedules, and customer relationships
• Experience managing submittals, RFIs, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software
• Experience with ERP, scheduling, document control, or project management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, Viewpoint, Spectrum, Sage, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar systems 
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Valid Driver's License required
