Job Description
Machine Operator
A food manufacturing company in Geneva, NY is hiring Machine Operators to support production, packaging, case, and labeling operations. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment, verifying correct labels and packaging, making basic adjustments, keeping the area clean, and supporting safe, accurate product flow.
This is a strong fit for someone with production, packaging, machine operation, warehouse, forklift, food manufacturing, or mechanical aptitude who can work 12-hour shifts in a hands-on plant environment.
Location: Geneva, NY
Shift: 1st and 2nd shift opportunities; 12-hour shift schedule
Training: Monday-Friday training schedule
Pay: Most hires are expected around $19.00-$28.00/hr. Higher pay may be considered for candidates with standout machine operation experience, strong food packaging experience, or mechanic-level skills.

Responsibilities
Operate and monitor case, label, packaging, or production equipment.
Verify that correct labels, cases, packaging materials, and product information are being used.
Watch for label issues, jams, product flow problems, packaging defects, or machine concerns.
Make basic machine adjustments when appropriate.
Clean and lubricate equipment as required.
Use small hand tools to support basic line and equipment needs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow safety, GMP, quality, PPE, and housekeeping expectations.
Communicate with leads, supervisors, quality, maintenance, and other production team members when issues come up.
Support other production, packaging, warehouse, or plant duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
Production, machine operation, packaging, warehouse, forklift, food manufacturing, or related experience preferred.
Basic mechanical aptitude.
Ability to use small hand tools.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for long periods.
Comfort working in a food manufacturing or production plant environment.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
