Job Description
Malloy Collision Center is seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Manager to oversee our body shop. The Body Shop Parts Manager is responsible for ordering, receiving, storing, and distributing parts for every repair order — keeping repairs on schedule and customers happy.
You will be responsible for inventory control and building strong relationships with our vendors and local wholesale accounts. If you are a process-driven leader who thrives on organization and "clean" inventory, we want to hear from you.

- Inventory Control: Manage stock levels to ensure high shop productivity while minimizing obsolescence and overstock.
- Order and receive all parts per repair orders, confirming correct quality, quantity, and fit
- Distribute parts to the shop according to the production schedule
- Label and store all parts by repair order number
- Enter parts invoices into the shop management system and ensure timely posting of invoices and credit memos
- Communicate parts price changes to the relevant team members
- Order and receive supplemental parts, and reconcile vendor invoice history daily
- Monitor vendor performance and verify correct discount pricing is applied
- Work closely with team members to meet customer and production needs
- Proven Experience: Previous experience in Automotive Parts Management or as a Lead Counterperson
- 1–3+ years of automotive parts experience (body shop experience a plus)
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Dealership Management Systems (DMS) and OEM parts cataloging.
- Reynolds and Reynolds experience preferred
- CCC preferred
- I-Car trained
- Ability to commute to the address of our dealership.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Deep knowledge of automotive parts, terminology, and OEM warranty procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on "clean" bin locations and accurate cycle counts.
- Excellent negotiation skills for vendor relations and wholesale accounts.
- Professional demeanor with a "customer-first" mindset.
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with shop management systems and estimating tools
- Experience with parts sourcing platforms (Car-part, Progi, APU, LKQ B2B)
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
