As a Corporate Trainer focused on onboarding, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring new hires have a smooth and successful start during their first 90 days. You’ll travel to various locations to deliver hands-on onboarding experiences that reinforce company standards, operational excellence, and customer service. In addition to supporting new employees, you’ll coach and guide managers on best practices for onboarding their teams, creating a consistent and engaging experience across all sites.

This position requires extensive field travel (50% or more) to locations across multiple states and may include occasional weekends based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate onboarding programs for new hires within their first 90 days, ensuring they understand company culture, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Deliver interactive, in-person training using a variety of instructional techniques tailored to different learning styles and site dynamics.
  • Partner with field leadership and operations teams to identify onboarding needs and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Coach managers on effective onboarding practices, including setting expectations, providing feedback, and fostering team engagement.
  • Support new site openings, SOP rollouts, and technology launches by training onsite teams during implementation.
  • Conduct structured check-ins with new hires and managers during the onboarding period to reinforce learning and address challenges.
  • Track onboarding completion and effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Provide field insights to improve onboarding materials and processes continuously.
  • Stay informed on best practices in onboarding and field-based training to enhance program quality.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in training, onboarding, or facilitation within a corporate or operational setting.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and effective training delivery methods.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Experience using LMS platforms and virtual tools for blended learning.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple onboarding schedules.
  • Certification in training or facilitation is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk job sites during training sessions.
