Responsibilities

• Work as a team by providing a safe, healthy, and respectful kitchen experience.
• Serves meals by reviewing recipes; assembling, combining, and cooking ingredients; and maintaining a sanitary kitchen.
• Takes pride in the detail and presentation of each order.
• Prepares ingredients by following recipes; slicing, cutting, chopping, mincing, stirring, mixing ingredients, adding seasonings, and plating meals.
• Completes hot meal preparation by grilling, sautéing, and frying ingredients and assembling and refrigerating cold ingredients.
• Adheres to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items.
• Stores leftovers according to established standards.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a cook
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
