Job Title: Part-Time Dock Porter

Location: Lancaster, TX

Department: Operations / Maintenance

Reports To: Warehouse Manager or Terminal Manager

Position Summary

A Dock Porter will focus on the upkeep and support of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep the dock area clean and orderly, and assist with facility upkeep
• Transport supplies, and tools within the warehouse
• Ensure that spills are cleaned up and the workspace meets health and safety standards
• Conduct daily facility walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and compliance documentation
• Support emergency repairs and be available for on-call situations as needed
• Assist with facility upgrades, equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of facility maintenance experience in an industrial or warehouse setting
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently
• Comfortable working in cold storage environments (refrigerated and freezer conditions)
• Attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Time management in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Working Conditions

• Frequent exposure to cold and freezer environments (as low as -10°ree;F)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (climbing, bending, standing)
• May require working nights, weekends, or overtime during peak periods
