Front Office Receptionist / Office Assistant

Pennington Concrete & Utilities is a growing company looking to hire a bilingual front office receptionist/office assistant.

Job duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting guests and directing them to the correct departments
• Answering phones, taking detailed messages and directing them to the correct departments, responding to voicemail and email contacts
• Entering data correctly into QuickBooks, Sage100 Contractor, Excel, Word
• Dig Tess - Texas 811 Locates
• Filing/Organizing
• Type and send out bids to potential customers
• Helping project managers locate bids or various tasks to complete jobs
• Helping to maintain a clean and sanitized office
• Support role to other administrative departments (Accounts payable, Accounts receivable)
• Order office supplies and maintain inventory
• Assist walk-ins
• Receiving packages and assisting vendors with deliveries
• Other related job duties as required

Job requirements:

• 2+ year of proven experience as Receptionist and/or Office Assistant
• Bilingual - English and Spanish (preferred)
• Reliable and punctual
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Self-motivated and capable of handling multiple tasks
• Excellent telephone and communication skills
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel and Outlook experience required)
• Knowledge in Sage 100 Contractor (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge in QuickBooks (preferred but not required)
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent Problem-solving skills

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
