Pharmacy Care Coordinator (Bilingual Spanish/English)

Location: Remote (Central Time)
Type: Full-time, W2 contract (40 hrs/week)
Pay: $20.00/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday between 7:00 AM–8:00 PM CST (must be flexible within this window)

Overview

We’re hiring Bilingual (Spanish/English) Pharmacy Care Coordinators to support patients by removing barriers to care and helping them access and stay on therapy. In this role, you’ll handle inbound/outbound calls, assist with referrals and applications, and provide a high-quality, empathetic patient experience.

What You’ll Do

• Handle inbound and outbound calls; identify needs and drive one-call resolution
• Create and complete accurate referrals/applications; stay up to date on policy/procedure changes
• Investigate and resolve patient/physician inquiries in a timely manner
• Document detailed notes in proprietary software while on the phone
• Place outbound follow-up/confirmation calls as needed
• Steward patient accounts from initial contact through final approval/denial
• Prioritize multiple tasks with urgency while maintaining quality and professionalism
• Report adverse events within required timeframes

Requirements

• Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
• High School Diploma / GED (or equivalent work experience)
• 1–3 years in a related field preferred
• Customer service/call center experience preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, empathy, and multitasking skills
• Comfortable with heavy phone work and data entry

Training & Work Expectations

• New-hire training is 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST with mandatory on-camera attendance
• Must be able to work a flexible shift within the 7:00 AM–8:00 PM CST window

• Hardwired high-speed internet (no Wi‐Fi/cellular/satellite)
• Minimum internet specs: 15 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload / ping ≤ 30 ms
