Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic Journeyman to support plant operations through troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of industrial electro-mechanical equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime through preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and independent problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a direct hire opportunity with our client in Woodland, CA. The recruitment and hiring process is managed by TEAM 360 STAFFING.

Schedule & Availability

• Must have open availability
• Willingness to work any shift, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and on call/emergency coverage as needed
• Must have availability to start as soon as possible

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial mechanical and electrical equipment to minimize downtime
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility systems
• Repair and maintain equipment including motors, conveyors, pumps, hydraulic systems, and related industrial machinery
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and restore equipment to operational condition quickly and safely
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems and electrical components
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical blueprints
• Use electrical test equipment to diagnose and calibrate systems
• Complete maintenance documentation including work orders and preventive maintenance records
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times
• Manage spare parts inventory and communicate supply needs to supervision
• Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response support as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Mechanic

Required Skills & Abilities

• Strong industrial maintenance troubleshooting skills (mechanical and electrical systems)
• Ability to work independently at a journeyman level with minimal supervision
• Solid understanding of industrial equipment and production systems
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE at all times
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift/push up to 50 lbs for extended periods
• Ability to work in industrial environments with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English for safety and operational purposes
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond effectively under pressure

Physical Requirements

• Must wear and properly maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, climbing, and prolonged standing
• Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders, including silos, hoppers, and elevated structures
• Exposure to industrial environments with machinery, noise, dust, and variable conditions
• Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and maintenance machinery
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Industrial maintenance experience required (manufacturing environment preferred)
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems required
• Welding experience preferred
• General maintenance, contractor, or facilities maintenance experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred

Additional Requirements

• Must have reliable personal vehicle for transportation to and from work to ensure punctuality
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check
• Must be available to start employment as soon as possible
