Duties
- Works under the direction of the Loss Prevention Manager. Responsible for the detection, apprehension, or deterrence of customer, vendor and employee activity that would otherwise result in a loss to Company assets. Assists in promoting and monitoring compliance to company policies and procedures related to theft prevention, safety and inventory control. Monitor multiple video screens and operate remote cameras.
The Loss Prevention Officer will be responsible for protecting assets, products in transit, employees and customers by using strong processes. Agent will work with employees and both internal and external partners. Investigate all reported security incidents.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, possess the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
· Monitor multiple video screens and operate remote cameras
· Analyzes data to identify trends of losses associated with Supply Chain exposures
· Assist in improving the work environment, by suggesting and implementing ideas for greater efficiency and the overall quality of a safe and secure work environment
· Strong investigative and analytic skills
· Effective communication skills and able to cascade information in both written and verbal communication skills
· Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry
Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures
· Compete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures
· Maintain organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
· Ability to work on the store’s busiest days
· Maintain regular and prompt attendance
· Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
Qualifications:
· Excellent customer service skills
· Experience required-DPSST Card preferred
· Must be 18+
· High school graduate, diploma or GED
