Empire Workforce Solutions is seeking a Material Handler for a flooring company. This position is responsible for manually transferring finished products from the production line to the inventory department, as well as manually loading products from inventory into vans.
The ideal candidate is physically capable of performing demanding work, safety-conscious, dependable, and detail-oriented in a manufacturing environment.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Shift: 4:00 am - 2:30pm (Overtime is required)
Pay Range: $18.50 - $18.50 per hour
Location: Tracy, CA

Primary Responsibilities
- Manually Transfer finished products (carpets) from the production line to inventory area.
- Manually Load finished products (carpets) from inventory and production into carrier vans for customer delivery.
- Operate the automatic roller pusher safely and efficiently.
- Assist in preparing daily reports regarding product quality and shipment quantities.
- Maintain accurate finished goods inventory.
- Verify products meet quality standards, including color, thickness, roll length, and defect requirements.
- Maintain familiarity with product codes and specifications.
- Foster effective communication within the department and across departments.
- Follow safety, environmental, and conduct policies
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs consistently throughout the entire shift.

- Experience with physically demanding work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, twist, and repeatedly lift heavy materials.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and environmental compliance.
- Dedication to quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to dust and debris.
- Frequent overtime may be required.
- Heavy lifting required throughout the shift.
- Standing throughout the shift.
