Truss Assembler

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Assembly Associates to join our truss manufacturing team at one of our clients. In this role, you will assist in the assembly of wood roof and floor trusses according to specifications, blueprints, and production schedules. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Essential Responsibilities

Assemble wood trusses using hand tools.
Read and interpret truss layouts, work orders, and production drawings.
Measure, position, and secure lumber components according to specifications.
Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the facility.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality defects to supervisors.

Qualifications

Previous manufacturing, construction, carpentry, or assembly experience preferred but not required.
Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Bilingual (Spanish / English)

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in varying temperatures typical of a manufacturing environment.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.

Work Environment

Outdoor manufacturing facility.
Fast-paced production environment.
Exposure to wood dust, noise, and moving machinery.

Schedule

Full-time
Monday through Friday 6am - 4:30 pm. Shift times can change slightly according to production needs.
