About the Role:
IVY LOGISTICS LLC is looking for reliable and motivated Delivery Drivers with their own vehicle to join our growing team in Stamford, CT! Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver packages, goods, or documents to residential and commercial locations in a timely manner
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity
- Ensure accurate delivery by verifying addresses, packages, and recipient information
- Obtain signatures or confirmations upon delivery as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning personal vehicle for daily operations
- Communicate proactively with dispatch or management regarding delays or issues
- Provide courteous, professional customer-facing service at every stop
Requirements:
- Must own a reliable personal vehicle in good working condition
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Active auto insurance meeting minimum coverage requirements
- Strong knowledge of the Stamford, CT area and surrounding regions preferred
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs
- Punctual, dependable, and self-motivated with strong time management skills
- Smartphone with GPS/navigation capability required
