Operates Offset Sheet fed, Offset Web fed, Flexographic or Digital printing and converting presses.
Reviews printing work orders for special instructions. Ensures that production deadlines are met.
Prepares plates; prints and collates finished pages. Ensures quality standards of printed products.
Sets up, adjusts, operates and cleans equipment.
Often services and makes routine equipment repairs.
Ensures that adequate supplies of paper, ink, and other materials are available.
Maintains records of production output.
Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Examples of some additional in line converting / finishing process are: Perfecting (ex-4/4), coating, scoring, perforating, gluing, folding, cutting etc.
